Hello I am Devon Meyer. I am a Canadian artist specializing in character design and 2D Illustration. I graduated from the Animation program at Conestoga College. In the program I expanded on my drawing skills in 2d programs such as Photoshop. As well as learning new programs such as Maya and Blender for 3D modeling and sculpting. Since the end of my classes I worked on a co-op term with Creative Connex to work on a book in development "the Other Side of the Wall". I was a lead Illustrator on the book and worked on it from character design and storyboarding to finalization.

Creative Connex, Co-op, March 2021-June 2021

Lead Illustrator on a children’s book The Other Side of the Wall (to be announced. Available for view on request).

Communicating with the supervisor about changes and alterations to visuals and story when necessary.

Taking feedback for concepts and designs then incorporating them to meet the project managers requests.

Responsible for pre-production of designs to final visuals.
